Job Title: Farm Maintenance Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Maintenance Specialist to oversee and maintain the operational efficiency of farm equipment, facilities, and infrastructure. This role requires hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth farm operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair farm machinery, tools, and equipment.
- Perform regular upkeep of farm infrastructure, including buildings, irrigation systems, and fencing.
- Identify and resolve mechanical and operational issues promptly.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices.
- Collaborate with farm staff to address maintenance needs and improve efficiency.
- Maintain records of repairs, parts inventory, and service schedules.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering
- 3 to 6 years’ experience of running large scale workshops/servicing centers.
- Experience in the maintenance of large-scale agricultural equipment and power generators.
- Exposure to ISO environment is a distinct advantage.
- Experience from poultry background as first preference
